Kathi Morse Feb 16, 2016 2:51 PM (in response to sharakarasic)In this busy world we work in I am not sure how to use this during business hours when there is are so many demands on our time. How does this work to help us navigate the day without adding just another item to the to do list?

I guess that speaks to what I first said about demands. It seems that one has to hunt for items of interest it isn't easily noted what information might be of interest and connect with it.. Such as Stephen Bello's Everyone Has a Story...I think that resonated with some and I was ask how does one find the story. Thanks. Kathi

Re: What do you think of the new HealthStream Community?
gunklle@msn.com Jul 16, 2016 9:22 PM (in response to sharakarasic)I like the "Healthstream community idea. It seems like a good way to share thoughts and provide self checks to see if I'm headed in the right direction. It will allow me to get feed back. It's a lot of information to take in at once and I'm not exactly sure how to connect. I would also like to create a group with my fellow NRP instructors, but I'm not sure how to get the privilege to do so.

sharakarasic Jul 18, 2016 12:58 PM (in response to gunklle@msn.com)Hi Charles, thank you for your feedback on the HealthStream community. Here is the link for the NRP Instructor Toolkit where you can connect with your fellow NRP instructors - you should have access as an NRP Instructor as long as you have bought/enrolled in the NRP Instructor course. Here is the link to the NRP Instructor Toolkit: https://communities.healthstream.com/community/nrp-instructor-toolkit. Let me know if that works for you.

gunklle@msn.com Jul 18, 2016 1:59 PM (in response to sharakarasic)I already have the instructor toolkit, but I find nowhere in it the ability to connect with my fellow instructors or to set up groups.

Re: What do you think of the new HealthStream Community?
Kathi Morse Jul 27, 2016 10:13 AM (in response to sharakarasic)1 of 1 people found this helpfulI like when participation in the community gives me suggestions that make daily work seem more manageable and I think more importantly give me a forum for asking a question or expressing a feeling and getting support. I also like getting to know people I work with on a more personal level. We are friendly to each other, generally, but we don't know who those people really are and I think tidbits of information make the friendliness much more genuine and there is more of a buy in so to speak. I am not sure if this is the kind of information you were looking for but here are the thoughts that come to mind right away.
Off now to do a training module on a just culture.

Kathi Morse Sep 16, 2016 11:37 AM (in response to sharakarasic)Did you hear at the cooler that dress code rules vary from department to department and causes a lot of conversation in the summer or warmer months? Physicians are particularly interesting. to observe.

Jennifer Bottoms, JD Sep 22, 2016 10:03 AM (in response to sharakarasic)1 of 1 people found this helpfulI really like the Healthstream Community. Once there is active participation I think it will be a great resource and tool for compliance professionals. I am the Conflict of Interest Coordinator at my organization and I want to connect with other professionals who manage conflicts of interest, particularly those who use COI-Smart. Are we able to create or join a subgroup?
Thank you!

Amber Citty Jul 15, 2019 10:58 PM (in response to sharakarasic)I LIKE HEALTHSTREAM BUT I AGREE WITH SOME OF THE STATEMENTS OF IT BEING ALITTLE HARD TO FIND TIME TO DO THEM DURING WORKING HOURS. ALSO WITH FAMILY OBLIGATIONS IT MAY ALSO BE DIFFICULT TO COME IN ON PERSONAL TIME.
